Hailing from the South coast, UK, Y.G begun his career free-styling in the South coast Rap scene alongside completing his 2 year course at Northbrook College, Worthing. After being successfully certificated Y.G moved to Hackney, London, to work on his skills in music producing and music technology. Whilst being a key rapper Y.G spent time refining his production skills before moving back to Worthing, West Sussex where he worked alongside local rappers and urban artists. After setting up a studio in his house, Y.G began recording and producing tracks with artists and rappers including Lil’Blak, Reece1 and Miss B.
Y.G is currently working on a Sky1 project with David van Day and Sue Moxley, the single called Rich and Famous will be hitting the shelves in January 2011, which will be accompanied by a three episode slot in the Sky1 series ‘Showbiz’, a video on all good music channels, shows at venues such as The Hard Rock Café, London and other West End of London locations.
